Description
Parking sur la route qui passe sous le Château Cathare de Móntsegur, en direction du village. Juste pour visiter le château ou passer une nuit, il y aura quelques bruits de route. Accès facile par grand camping-car et stationnement aisé. . La montée jusqu'au château est de difficulté faible à moyenne, il faut près d'une demi-heure de marche le long du chemin et des escaliers. Vous pouvez télécharger l'application d'audioguide Pays Cathare pour interpréter les ruines du château. . Vous verrez un itinéraire GR, randonnées et VTT.
The Camper’s take
Parking at Col de Montségur, directly beneath the Cathar castle. Easy access for campers up to 8 m. Steep site requiring chocks, except upper parking area which is more level. Nights typically quiet despite road proximity. Waste bins available. Short but steep hike to castle (30 min, free entry). GR trails and mountain biking nearby. Stunning sunrise views over the ruins.

Motorhome access : Accessible for motorhomes up to 8m. Upper parking at the pass is almost flat. Lower parking areas are very steep; wheel chocks highly recommended. Asphalt, easy maneuvering.
