The Camper’s take
Free parking at the foot of the Valley of the Locks canal, ideal for hiking and cycling. Flat, shaded ground with around 50 spaces. Adjacent crepery (Papar Hasard) open 8am-2pm. GPS location is inaccurate: follow the "Parking Vallée des Éclusiers" sign. Drawbacks: night train noise (SNCF 11pm-5am) and narrow entrance unsuitable for large motorhomes. No services (waste, electricity, water).
