Amoureux de pêche, de canoë (deux descentes prévues à cet effet), de balade à pied ou à vélo, c'est pour vous. Ecluse double et ses dépendances ouvertes au public, adorable maison d'éclusier d'époque. Aire de piquenique avec table et bancs.

A hidden gem beside the Escaut river featuring Napoleon's remarkable aqueduct canal bridge. Concrete parking, picnic area, and direct access to canoeing launches and fishing spots. Exceptionally peaceful nights surrounded by nature. Recently renovated and reopened to public. Access via rough track but manageable for campervans.

Motorhome access : Very bumpy access path (dirt or gravel road), poorly paved. Tricky maneuvering but doable for vehicles up to about 7.5 m. Final concrete parking area. Drive slowly.
