Pour ceux qui n'auraient pas trouvé de place plus bas.. Il s'agit du parking du haut Boréon. Impossible d'aller plus loin en véhicule motorisé. Endroit ombragé en contrebas. Les départs de randonnées arrivent donc, en saison, tardivement (voire très tôt). La route qui monte là-bas est un peu vieillissante, mais elle avance lentement.

High-altitude forest parking lot at road's end (Boréon, Mercantour), perfect for hikers. Large, level, shaded parking spread over three tiers. Access via rough but passable track. Peaceful evenings with heavy morning hiker traffic. Patchy 4G coverage (Bouygues, SFR). Quality refuge and restaurant nearby.
