The Camper’s take
Compact asphalt parking overlooking the Poitiers battlefield with open-air museum. Very peaceful with panoramic valley views. Suitable for vans and small motorhomes up to 6–7 m. Two parking areas: sealed surface (tight) and grass field (slippery when wet). Recycling bins provided. Outstanding historical interest and restful stop.

- Grassy area becomes impassable in bad weather
- Narrow access requiring cautious maneuvering

Motorhome access : Access via narrow lane. Paved parking suitable for motorhomes up to 7 m max, but very tight. Grass terrain with adjacent tables, stable only in good weather. Tricky maneuvers required. Not recommended for vehicles over 7 m.
