Description
Parking de la Bastille, en haut de celle-ci. Presque plat, superbe vue sur la ville et environs, parc avec des arbres pour le pique-nique. Y a même un point d'eau et des WC qui même si peu entretenus ont le mérite d'exister. (sous la route). Attention par contre route sinueuse et très étroite pour monter, pas de gros véhicule (je suis passé avec mon Ducato aménagé de 5,35 m de long mais plus, c'est galère assurée !). Parking jour uniquement !

Panoramic parking at the top of Bastille with stunning 180° view over Grenoble and surrounding mountains. Water point and basic toilets available. Day use only. Outstanding views and hiking access offset by extremely challenging access: 30% gradient with very tight hairpin turns, passable only for vehicles under 5.40 m long. Variable atmosphere depending on time of day.

Motorhome access : Very difficult access. 30% gradient road, very tight hairpin turns, two-way traffic. Recommended for vehicles ≤5.4 meters max, frequent maneuvering required. Tricky descent with engine braking. No U-turn possible uphill.
