Description
Grand parking gratuit et calme de l'Aven Armand mais légèrement en pente. Visite possible de la grotte de l'Aven Armand de début Avril à début Novembre. L'Aven Armand, découvert et exploré en 1897 par Louis Armand et Édouard Alfred Martel, est aujourd'hui l'un des plus beaux joyaux du monde souterrain avec sa forêt de + de 400 stalagmites dont la plupart dépasse les 10 m de hauteur jusqu'à 30 m pour la plus grande stalagmite au monde.

Large free parking at Aven Armand site (Causse Méjean plateau). Easy access, mostly level ground with slight slope. Cave tours April to November. Water points, toilets (open during visiting hours), covered shelters, café-restaurant. Very peaceful at night, excellent for stargazing. Popular overnight stop before visiting this spectacular underground cave system.
