The Camper’s take
Flat, quiet parking at the edge of Archiane hamlet with stunning views of the cirque. Ideal trailhead for Vercors hiking. Very narrow, winding access road (passing impossible in sections). Toilets frequently out of service. Overnight parking officially prohibited (signs at entrance), but enforcement varies. Small village 300 m away with cafe and water point.

Motorhome access : Very narrow and winding road (5km) with impossible crossings in places. Flat parking but tricky maneuvering for long motorhomes. Access not recommended for vehicles over 6.5m.
