Description
Emplacements pour camping-cars sur l'aire de repos « Aveyron » de l'autoroute A75. Tickets à retirer à la station-service Total. Calme. L'eau est temporairement coupée en hiver.
The Camper’s take
Free A75 motorway rest area with outstanding views of Séverac castle. Slightly sloped pitches for campervans. Access to facilities (grey and black water disposal) but infrastructure failures: water cut off in winter, no threaded taps, weak flow, blocked drains. Tokens required at service station. Quiet despite motorway proximity, walking path to village.
Highlights
- Spectacular view of the castle and the valley
- Very quiet despite being close to the highway
- Free access close to Séverac village
- Black and grey water disposal available
Good to know
- Unreliable drinking water (cut off in winter, taps without threading, very low flow)
- Drainage clogged and facilities poorly maintained
- Spots are on a slope, lack of chocks makes it difficult
- Impractical and expensive token system
Motorhome access : Spots on a gentle slope; manoeuvring is possible but pitches are uneven, with a few unusable spots. Direct motorway access
