The Camper’s take
Free parking dedicated to motorhomes on the banks of the Tarn River, in the heart of the medieval village of Sainte-Énimie. About a dozen spaces along a wall with direct access to the river. Clean public toilets 50 m away. Water point at wall base (push-button) and near toilets. Warning: prone to flooding during heavy rains, sloped pitches requiring levelling blocks, very busy in season. Some spaces protected by 2.10 m height barrier. Restaurants and shops nearby.
Highlights
- Exceptional pitch by the Tarn River with remarkable views
- Free parking reserved for motorhomes in a highly attractive listed village
- Shops, restaurants, and bakery nearby
Good to know
- Parking regularly flood-prone during heavy rain or floods
- Very limited spaces (12–15), often full in peak season, some very steep
- Height barriers installed on 3/4 of the parking reducing available pitches
Motorhome access : Access possible but steep terrain, wheel chocks often needed. Maneuvering tricky due to limited spaces and layout. Parking rules vary by season: tolerated off-season for campervans, more restrictive in summer.
