The Camper’s take
Small motorhome parking in central Carcassonne, 25-30 minutes walk from the Citadel. Only 3-4 dedicated spaces, often occupied by regular cars. Free from 6 PM to 9 AM, €2.50/5h during day. Public toilets nearby. Well-located for city visits but very noisy (busy road, school, evening youth gatherings). Not recommended for sleeping. Variable safety, some incidents reported.
