Recent (2018) overnight parking area in Thouars, well-positioned near the historic town center and river. Level ground with 12-13 demarcated spaces. Electricity (6 outlets only, one-sided), free WiFi, grey/black water disposal at entrance. Paid parking (€5.40/24h). Main drawback: permanent occupation of spaces and sockets by long-term residents, making electricity access unpredictable. No visibility of available spaces before payment. Generally quiet atmosphere but tension between residents and passing visitors.
