Free overnight parking (7 pm–9 am) in central Besançon, 10 minutes' walk to historic center. 12 dedicated spaces on a shared car park. Free water and waste disposal (press green button). Access via Rue d'Arènes can be tricky. Main strengths: unbeatable rates, prime location near citadel and shops. Main weaknesses: variable urban noise (tram, students, bars), capacity issues at peak times, recurring black water drainage problems, no electricity available.
