Le lac de Podensac est un lieu magnifique accessible uniquement sur réservation. C'est un lieu calme et sécurisé au bord de l'eau. Il dispose de toilettes sèches, possibilité d'accès à la douche et à l'électricité (appoint électrique sur panneau solaires donc pas de branchement direct, chargement de téléphone, batteries uniquement). Il y a une boulangerie et des restaurants accessibles à pieds, il y a le train accessible à pieds qui permet de monter sur Bordeaux en moins de 30 minutes. Une aire de jeux pour enfants se trouve à proximité. Le musée Lillet est visitable à pieds. Il y a la possibilité de louer des kayaks, des barques, et de pêcher sur le lac avec supplément.
