The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Free municipal parking in the heart of the village, shaded and peaceful, with panoramic views of Peyrepertuse and Quéribus castles. Toilets, greywater disposal, waste bins. Small friendly bakery-grocery selling fresh bread and local products. Ideal starting point for castle hikes. Limitations: no fresh water tap (spring at village rear), windy conditions in summer.
Highlights
- Stunning views over the castles and landscapes
- Very peaceful and well-maintained by the local council
- Quality grocery-bakery with fresh bread and warm welcome
- Many hikes accessible nearby
Good to know
- No tap for refilling fresh water (distant spring water)
- Very windy with little real shade in summer
- Trash odors near the waste disposal area
- Closed in low season (grocery and restaurant closed)
Motorhome access : Flat terrain, spacious 20-spot parking. Winding and narrow road before the village, not recommended for large vehicles on tight turns. Easy maneuvering once on-site.
