Description
Borne Urbaflux. The Camper’s take
Free small aire behind Verdun bus station and Leclerc supermarket. Urbaflux service terminal with grey/black water disposal and water supply (all free). Electricity available but requires special connector. Around 6 spaces on slightly sloped asphalt. Close to shops and city centre (10-25 min walk). Access instructions unclear (GPS coordinates inaccurate). Recurring issue: permanent occupation of spaces by long-term parked vehicles.
Highlights
- All services free of charge (water, emptying, electricity)
- A short walk from Leclerc supermarket and the city center
- Peaceful nights despite the nearby railway
Good to know
- Access difficult: incorrect GPS coordinates, unclear signage
- Permanent squatting by 1-2 motorhomes year-round, blocking spots
- Special electrical outlet required (not standard 220V compatible)
- Early morning train noise, water sometimes cut off in certain seasons
Motorhome access : Access via the multimodal train station (not via Leclerc). Slightly sloping paved terrain. About 6 spots, good maneuvering. Suitable for large vehicles.
