The Camper’s take
Free waterside parking in Meung-sur-Loire town centre, alongside the Loire River. Around 10-12 level, shaded pitches for motorhomes. Water, electricity and waste services available (paid). Public toilets (7am-10pm). Close to the castle, Sunday market, shops and swimming pool. Generally quiet nights, though can be noisy during peak season (youth activity, daytime traffic). Highly appreciated by visitors for its free status.
