Former municipal campground with 50 spacious grass pitches, green and tree-shaded, beside the Thouet river, 1.5 km from Airvault village. Requires CAMPING-CAR PARK membership (€5 lifetime). Excellent for overnight stays; undemarcated sites allow flexibility. Seasonal facilities with hot showers accessible by card. Persistent noise from nearby cement factory disturbs sleep. Limited electrical hookups for the number of pitches; uneven amenity distribution.
