Le parking n'a rien de très attirant mais a les avantages d'être dans un quartier calme, à deux pas du centre ville, des commerces, de l'Espace Météorite, du château et du site archéologique Cassinomagus. Point de départ possible de la belle rando "Circuit de la météorite" et d'autres balades. Les jetons pour l'eau sont à acheter à l'office de tourisme.
