Aire d'étape avec 24 emplacements, avec tous services (borne de services eau, vidanges toutes eaux et bornes électriques). Toilettes à 5mn à pieds (propres, avec papier, eau et chauffage!) sur la place du village et aussi dans la salle hors sac dans le bâtiment juste à côté des WC extérieurs, au 1er étage. Différents forfaits sont disponibles. L'aire d'Auris bénéficie d'une vue remarquable sur la Meije, sommet mythique et majestueux du Massif des Écrins et le Parc National des Écrins, cet espace protégé qui comme son nom l'indique, est un véritable écrin de beauté ! Accès à la piscine chauffée (rénovée pour l'été 2021), les pistes et les nombreux commerces et restaurants de la station sont à proximité.
The Camper’s take
Mountain stopover with 24 pitches and full facilities (water, electricity, waste disposal). Spectacular views of Mont-Blanc and direct access to slopes (300-500 m away). Flat terrain near village. Main strength: stunning panoramic views and ideal ski location. Weaknesses: complex and unreliable payment/service activation system, narrow and demanding access road in winter, services sometimes offline, very limited shop hours in low season.

Motorhome access : Narrow and winding road access; not recommended in snow or with large vehicles (>7.5m). Prefer taking the D1019 from Le Freney-d'Oisans. Avoid the route via Alpe d'Huez. Flat terrain, maneuvers possible but angled parking recommended with limited spots for large motorhomes.
