This stage, covering roughly 190 km from Vichy to Nevers, looks set to be a transitional day for the riders, but not for the spectators! The largely flat route winds along the Loire, passing through lands rich in history and lush greenery. The sprinters will have their moment, but culture and nature enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either.

Just a short drive from Vichy, this regional nature park offers unique volcanic landscapes and hiking trails for all abilities. A detour to the Puy de Dôme, visible from the road, gives a sense of nature’s raw power.
