Camping municipal "Les Prades". A environ 1,2 km du centre ville de la Chaise Dieu. À proximité du lac avec possibilité de baignade à 5 minutes à pied. Situé sur une pinède, on est sûr de toujours trouver de l'ombre. Les sanitaires sont propres et en nombre suffisant. Il y a de quoi faire la vidange et vider les WC chimiques gratuitement. Camping tranquille, familial et pas cher. Équipe très sympa. L'été on peut réserver pain et viennoiseries directement à l'accueil
The Camper’s take
Municipal campsite in pine forest, 1.2 km from town centre and 5 min walk to lake. Large undesignated terrain—choose your own pitch. Very friendly welcome, reasonable rates (€13-17/night motorhome+electricity). Dated but clean sanitary facilities, hot water. Free waste/wastewater disposal. Excellent for families, nature lovers, swimming. Main drawback: very uneven terrain, hard to find level spots even with levelling blocks.

- Very steep terrain, hard to find a flat pitch

- Road noise from the main road is audible in some areas
Motorhome access : Easy access, open terrain without designated plots. BUT the ground is very steep with a significant slope: tricky maneuvers, leveling blocks recommended. Dumping/filling possible but reversing in is reported as difficult.
