Moulin à eau datant du XVIe siècle, le moulin de la Veyssière est le dernier moulin à huile en activité de la Vallée du Vern à Neuvic-sur-l'Isle. C'est en 1857 que Jacques Elias achète le moulin de la Veyssière. Depuis, de génération en génération, nous y perpétuons la fabrication artisanale d'huile et farines de caractère : noix, noisette, amande et cacahuète. Véritable patrimoine vivant, lieu de vie et de partage, la visite du moulin de la Veyssière saura vous faire voyager entre histoire et gastronomie. Visite gratuite et dégustation offerte. Ouvert toute l'année du lundi au vendredi de 9h30 à 12h30 et de 14h à 18h,le samedi de 14h à 18h. En juillet et août du lundi au vendredi de 9h30 à 19h, le samedi de 9h30 à 18h. Avant de vous établir pour la nuit, merci de bien vouloir vous présenter à l'accueil du moulin afin de vous faire connaître. Nous vous indiquerons où vous installer !
The Camper’s take
16th-century working mill producing walnut, hazelnut, almond and peanut oils. Free, tree-shaded grassy parking, flat and spacious. Complimentary guided tours and tastings (Mon-Sat). Warm family welcome. Very quiet riverside location, perfect for one or two peaceful nights. Near Caviar de Neuvic and Isle cycling trail.
