Description
Le camping « U Monte Cintu » est très verdoyant et bien entretenu, avec un personnel très agréable et abordable. Un service de livraison de pain est proposé. Les sanitaires sont simples mais propres. La vue est magnifique. C'est un excellent point de départ pour de nombreuses randonnées. Attention aux épines au sol sous les châtaigniers.
The Camper’s take
Rustic high-altitude camping (1000 m) at the foot of Monte Cinto, nestled under century-old chestnut trees. Spacious shaded pitches with stunning mountain views, warm welcome from owner Jean. Ideal for hikers. Very basic but generally clean facilities. Minimal infrastructure: no shop or bar. Excellent starting point for mountain ascents and river swimming. Natural, informally maintained terrain.

- Sanitary facilities very basic, run-down and maintenance inconsistent across seasons
- Minimal infrastructure: no shops, bar, or additional services
- Road access via D84 is difficult and winding (not recommended for large vehicles)
- Hot water is inconsistent by the end of the day
- Basic greywater drainage (drains into fields)
Motorhome access : Access via D84 very winding and narrow: not recommended for long or wide vehicles. Confirmed passes up to 7.50 m. Natural terrain with no amenities, maneuvering required depending on space. Pleasant entrance but slow traffic.
