The Camper’s take
Tree-filled 4-hectare campsite 10-15 minutes on foot from the medieval village of Collonges-la-Rouge. Spacious, shaded pitches, but mostly sloped (bring leveling blocks). Heated municipal pool with water slide included. Friendly reception reported by most visitors. Facilities aging but cleanliness varies: sometimes immaculate, sometimes neglected. Good value for money (€17-28). Quiet and green, ideal base to visit the historic village.

Good to know
