Small 3-star municipal campsite nestled in a valley, 20 minutes' walk from Avallon via steep woodland path. Spacious, level pitches beside the river. Immaculate heated facilities, pool, small shop. Warm welcome from staff (Simon notably praised). Fresh bread to order. Extremely peaceful, ideal stopover or hiking base. Around €22 for campervan + electricity.
