The Camper’s take
Well-maintained municipal campsite in Cluny, excellent for visiting the abbey and town centre (15 min walk). Large wooded pitches, free municipal pool included. Direct access to the Voie Verte cycling route. Major drawback: immediately adjacent to a highly frequent TGV line with trains every 10-15 minutes from 6am to 11pm—significant noise disturbance for many visitors. Functional but aging sanitary facilities. Friendly reception. Reception closes at 6pm.
