The Camper’s take
Small municipal campsite on the banks of the Aveyron river, facing Belcastel's medieval castle and village. Flat, grassy, shaded and very peaceful. Basic facilities (water, electricity, showers, toilets). Food and small shop on-site. Access via narrow country roads is the main challenge, particularly for large motorhomes. Best suited to vehicles under 2.35 m wide. Very affordable rates (€16–22/night).

Motorhome access : The access road is very narrow and winding, with difficult passages. Avoid vehicles over 2.35m wide. Access via Pont Neuf (D997/D285) is recommended over GPS directions that lead to the village center. Maneuvering can be stressful.
