The Camper’s take
Small mountain campsite in the Ubaye valley, near Mercantour and Col de Larche. Large shaded pitches on grass, very clean facilities, small restaurant and shop. Peaceful atmosphere, excellent base for hiking. Road access is narrow upstream. Note: Turkish-style toilets, limited sanitary opening hours, occasional motorbike noise from the col road.

Good to know
- Outdated Turkish-style toilets

Motorhome access : Narrow, winding road for the final 800 m, difficult for large motorhomes with limited maneuverability. Camping possible but upstream access is very restricted.
