The Camper’s take
Small 3-star campsite 30 minutes on foot from Mende town centre, 5 minutes from a major shopping area. Spacious, shaded and grassy pitches beside water. Generally clean sanitary facilities. Swimming pool. Owners known for very friendly welcome. Moderate rates in season (from €15). Drawbacks: cash only (no credit cards), open-sided sanitary blocks (cold outside summer), emptying services for residents only, possibly closed in winter.
