Camping le Montana, route de Nevache. Très beau camping situé à 4 kms de Briançon . Possibilité pour les randonneurs de s’y rendre à pied par le GR5 en 1h30 environ. Paysages magnifiques. Le petit village la Vachette est très mignon enclavé dans les montagnes. Je recommande fortement ce camping.

Campsite located 4 km from Briançon at the start of the Névache valley. Accessible by GR5 hiking trail. Stunning mountain scenery. Brand-new, very clean facilities with spacious, shaded pitches. Full services (bakery, hot showers, waste disposal). Friendly reception. Moderate prices (€20-30). Excellent base for hiking and mountain sports. On-site swimming pool, pizzeria and small shop.

Good to know
- Difficult access for motorhomes over 7m (narrow alleys, tight spaces)
- Access prohibited for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (alternative route with steep incline required).
- Parking depends on availability, often taken by poorly parked campervans.
Motorhome access : Tricky access: narrow alleys poorly suited for motorhomes over 7 m; heavy vehicles over 3.5 t must take the Col du Montgenèvre route; spots often narrow and uneven; difficult maneuvering upon arrival.
