Municipal campsite at 1,000 m altitude near Mérens-les-Vals. Spacious, shaded pitches alongside the Ariège river with exceptional hospitality and very affordable rates (€11-26/night). Facilities clean but aging. Recurring drawback: noise from treatment plant and national road. Open year-round. Nearby hiking and hot springs.
