Small, quiet municipal campground on the riverside, 5 minutes' walk from Lapalisse town centre and its château. Large pitches delimited by hedges, well-shaded. Friendly welcome. Very competitive rates (€13–20). Aging but well-maintained facilities. Limited opening hours (8am–8pm in season). Ideal stopover on the N7.
