Large city-edge campsite beside the Eure river, 20-25 minutes' walk or bike ride to Chartres historic centre via a scenic riverside path. Spacious pitches with choice of shade or sun. Recently renovated, generally clean sanitary facilities. Warm welcome. Full services including electricity, water, showers, laundry, wifi (reception area). Seasonal events (food trucks, wood-fired pizza). Ideal base for visiting the cathedral.
