The Camper’s take
Municipal campsite on the Dordogne riverbank, well-shaded with direct river access and canoe rental. Spacious, quiet pitches at good value (€13–21/night). Facilities are aging but clean. Walking distance to medieval Domme village and scenic riverside trails. Note: dangerous bacteria reported in river from July onward with no warning signage.

Good to know
- The facilities are outdated and sometimes insufficient or poorly maintained
- Very muddy/earthy ground after rain; ground covered in leaves

- Can get very busy in peak season with tight spaces
Motorhome access : Accessible with maneuvering required. Natural terrain becomes very muddy when wet. Some pitches near the parking lot are noisy. Reception closed 12-2 PM. Chain barrier at entrance.
