The Camper’s take
Small municipal campground at the entrance of Aulus-les-Bains, Ariège, with shaded pitches and direct river access. Flat plots (levelling blocks sometimes needed), vintage but clean facilities with hot water. Good base for hiking (Ars waterfall, Col d'Agnès). Friendly welcome. Avoid if children's holiday camp is operating (noise until 10:30 pm). Very affordable rates (14-22€). Free WiFi.
